Is it normal to feel rushed?

Sometimes I feel like my mind is going really fast and I hear everything really fast (like someone is speed talking), but everything else around me is going really slow. This happens at random times for no apparent reason, but it always makes me want to sit down. When I try to walk when this is happening, I can feel myself walking extremely fast, but my body feels so slow along with the environment around me. And I can think more clearly and I feel like I can do so much more when it's happening. I don't think it's an adrenaline surge because it happens a lot when I'm still groggy in the mornings. And no, it's not drugs so please don't accuse me of that, it's demeaning and rude. Does anyone else have this happen? Is this normal?

I don't think that this is quite normal. It's never happened to me personally, so I can't really say much. Though maybe you should get checked out? Something serious could be going on. Either that or you might be the worlds newest superhero.

have you mentioned this to your doctor? It is definately not normal and might be a sign of something being wrong medically
