i wear glasses since 3 years, i get some bully-compliments, like ohh you look so stupid. Youre blind!... trust me, it hurts. but others, think that its the cutest thing ever. i think that when they say this to me that they're just making me feel better. is it normal to wear glasses and feel insecure ? help..
I've been wearing glasses since the second grade. I got contacts in the 10th grade, and wore them every single day until last summer. Last summer I injured my eyes by letting my glycolic acid face wash touch them. Since then I have been wearing my glasses more often. I wear my glasses all the time when I spend the whole day at home, and sometimes I wear them out if I am only going to the gym. I also feel like goofy when I wear them, but I've also had compliments. I think it's normal. I also think the people who talk crap to you will get their karma at some point.
I was told I had to wear glasses in grade5. I never wear them though. Ever. Sometimes when I'm squinting at something people will look at me funny, but I just explain to them I need glasses. I just don't personally like how I look, so I don't bother.
I've been wearing glasses since I was in 1st grade. When I was younger, I was often teased and called "four eyes" or "freak", but as I got older the silliness stopped. Most people don't seem to mind while others urge me to get contacts:/ However, I refuse to listen to them because I love my glasses. I'm also very dependent on them so if I take them off, Life gets too blurry and I get confused. Wear your glasses with pride!

I wore glasses for over two years, I honestly don't give a flying duck what other people say about it and they know it. And because they know, they stopped.
