Is it normal to feel like you're meant for something different?

Ok, I guess what i'm trying to say, is that compared to the average joe, I feel like I'm on a whole different level. My thought patterens differ from everyone elses, beliefs, observations, etc. I've felt like I was different since I can remember. Like I was meant for some sort of purpose... Or that I posses something people don't. Anyone else feel like this?

Most people feel this way until they become depressed.

Everyone has these thoughts but it takes another kind of person to follow through.

oh please, don't be so cocky, I'm sure that the average person would think that they have different thought patterns and purpose too. It's fine to think your special, just as long as you don't look down on anyone... Maybe you are some sort of amazingly different and outstanding person, but I highly doubt it.

I didn't mean to come off as cocky or arrogant...I don't know... its just hard to put into words. I don't look down on people though. I just get in these weird moods where everything makes sense and theres like...purpose. Like I said, it's hard to put into words
