Is it normal to feel like you have something wrong?

Im 23yrs old and im really confused. I was wondering if have something wrong with me because one minute im really happy then literally within seconds my mood changes. I feel confused all the time, im over sensitive when i shouldn't be for example if me and my boyfriend argues, i over react, or like when he goes to archery i feel really unhappy and mad at him.

My boyfriend keeps saying i have something wrong and that i need to change or do something. I dunno what to do, i hide it from my parents all the time. it's like i can't process every day things properly, i feel so alone, like im the one who has to care for everyone.

I felt this way when I tried to discuss depression with my doctor. It helps to write down on paper how you feel, then you can read it there. I always get nervous and uncomfortable so I can't think on my feet. If you prepare then you can assure they will know exactly how you feel. Good luck :) anti depressants weren't for me, I found other methods to maintaining happiness that don't take away all my emotions like prescriptions did. But they work for some!

But mine is all the time, it's like living in a muffed speaker 24/7. Cant process normal every day things, over reacting to things that are normal. and if something bad happens and you sit for a seconds to think, you know what you did but you can't understand it, if that makes sense.

It's because you have a lot of insecurities. You don't love your inner-self. So then anxiety and whatever else takes over and makes you not think clearly. You aren't in reality; you are in your own world that nobody else sees; negative world.

Here are a few websites that might help you out:

        http://www.wikihow.com/Recognize-Insecurities

        http://www.ehow.com/how_2173757_be-down-earth-person.html

        http://geniustypes.com/signs_of_insecurity/

I've been checking these websites lately just because I want to become a better person myself even though I know I am more secure than I once thought; well many times I should say. :) Someone at work told me something that made me think more deeply. Secure people want to continue to improve themselves.

mood swings. could be the result of an inner anxiety, or insecurity. try and find a balance. I am cautiously happy and I find it prepares me for whatever life throws at me.

Maybe go see a Psychologist and talk to them about what your life is like at the moment. Like one user said it could be your boyfriend or it could not. Just find out through them.

    Or

You can always just work on yourself a lone. You can figure out what your insecurities are: Why are you feeling down? What events occur and then you have a sence of fear from? What do people say to you that hurt? Do you feel like others judge you? Do you not stand up for yourself... what is it that hurts? Everybody has insecurities; others just know how to handle them better by letting things go or think about the positives in it.

Write down your likes and dislikes of yourself; what do you value and want to change in yourself? Like write down you traits and interests; work on them and value them. :)

Just love yourself! That's what make a person calm and positive during negative events. Then you love helping others a long the way; which a positive person actual puts others above them because it feels great helping others.

  • If you feel this way the symptoms may be a result of being the subject of emotional abuse. If your bf plays head games, they're subtle little remarks disguised as little jokes all an effort to keep you down so he can feel superior. I hope I'm wrong. You'd need a professional opinion

What you didn't understand text language or you didn't understand what that person meant?

And next time try actually making it clear to who your talking to because next time you could really hurt someone!!!

Umm it is usually clear when you reply to a comment that your reply is addressed towards the on who wrote that comment...

Understanding text language is "hard" and I don't bother doing so as text language shouldn't be used on here...
