Is it normal to feel like this when i'm high?

So 2 days ago, I got high from weed for the first time. (And last night) I vaped it through a thing called the volcano. My experience was super weird. I don’t know if I’m just being stupid and this is normal or if it was laced with something. But anyways, I felt so weird. I felt like I was in a legit dream but I knew I wasn’t. I knew it couldn’t be a dream because I was having an actual conversations with my boyfriend and his friend. I could read what was on their shirts and everything they were saying was making sense. The thing that made it feel like a dream was that I couldn’t really focus, and things I had said 2 seconds ago, felt like ages ago. It felt like as soon as the words left my mouth, I had forgotten them or that they were so long ago that I don’t remember what I said. My boyfriend was making me food and it probably took 10 min but it literally felt like hours. When I first realized I was high and didn’t feel normal, I freaked out because it felt like a dream and I couldn’t concentrate. My heart started pounding and everything felt tingly. My whole body felt numb or like it was pins and needles. I felt like I was going to die or pass out (I know I’m a wuss). But then my boyfriend told me it was okay and layed me down and I started laughing. I giggled a lot and got super hungry. I would not stop eating. Seriously kept eating and eating. Then my body would feel like it was melting. Like even my face was melting. My legs felt like they weren’t there or they were super light. My ankles would twitch a bunch. From what I’ve heard from people, being high makes them feel “chill” and I definitely didn’t feel chill. I guess at some points I did. You hear the usual munchies and time feels slow thing, but for my body to feel like it was melting and everything’s a dream? Is that what being high from marijuana actually feels like? Has anyone felt this way also or am I crazy or is it laced? Halp guys ;-;

    Ah man, I wish I was still doing drugs sometimes. Yes, it's normal. A lot of people that smoke because it chills them out have been smoking a long time.

    The first times I smoked it was definitely weird. And I was smoking Mexican bush weed back then. Now days weed is insanely powerful I could easily see how it would be intense for a first timer.

    I never liked weed much. It made me feel paranoid. But there are other times I was ok with it. Usually depended on my mood. But yea, if it screwed with you that bad, maybe try something a little more white crystal like. (You will get more stuff done around the house). But really better off not messing with any drugs.

    you smoked a bit much for the first time :p For people with tolerance, we need to take a week or two off from smoking just to get this feeling again once or twice. After you smoke a couple of days in a row you get high but you are functional again.

    its completely normal, what youre describing is dissociation, if you wanna look it up. its nice if sought after, it just causes anxiety when people dont expect the high to be like this. Just let it take you. Enjoy :)

    God i miss weed, before i did it i had this idea that all it did was make you relaxed bur when you haven't built up a tolerance yet and you smoke too much it can be a genuine trip that distorts reality

    Don't let this put you off, when i first started smoking i'd be able to get stoned off a joint shared by 3 people, you really don't have a tolerence so if you are smoking with someone who already smokes weed it's really easy to smoke too much and feel horrible, especially as your body is unfamiliar with it

    totally normal first experience, if you try it again take it easy and just have little by little till you're comfortable

    No paragraphs, couldn't be bothered reading that, but I gathered enough from a quick browse to be able to say that if you didn't like the effects of cannabis, stay away from it. It's not for everyone.
