Is it normal?
It is not 'normal', however it is 'common'.
It's called Social Anxiety (Social Phobia) as many of the comments state. Its popular and is easily treated, plus what you describe is only a trait of it. You may not even actually have the disorder.
Yuppppp normal. Or social anxiety. I've got it too. They gave me Prozac for it. Personally, I think it just made me bitchier but oh well. At least I'm not a doormat.
Me too, i'm always giving people dirty looks because i don't want to look like i do't think there laughing at me, but them maybe i'm not normal xD
Me too, especially when you're in a room with just a few people and they all start laughing for no reason and you don't understand the joke and you juts KNOW they're laughing at you. You ask "What's so funny?" and they just say "Nothin'! *smirk smirk*".
I've pondered this before, but then thoguht: so what? they could just as likely be complimenting me behind my back
It's called social anxiety. Sometimes medication can help ease that problem.
