Is it normal to feel like every one is the same??

I'm in high school and I have lots of friends and I know that everyone has there own personality. But I can't help feeling like every one is unoriginal. Idk. I have been called gay multiple times by different people but I'm not. I just express myself whenever and however I feel like. I don't hold anything back and I speak my mind. I am kind and will be friendly with any one. Any way is it normal to feel like everyone holds them selves back or that they are the same? Like they don't be their true selves?

In high school everyone wants to be 'cool' and fit in. Especially girls.
So it may seem like all kids are the same in school, but out of school they can finally be themselves.

You are more mature than most people in high school. Please dont think that the real world is in any way an extension of high school. Sure stupid shit still happens in the real world but high school seems to take assholes to a whole new level. Most of these assholes are products of their asshole parents. The difference between you and them is that they will have regrets and you wont.

Wow...you definately said whats on my mind. Some people nowadays are rude, ignorant, loud and have such need for attention that it just becomes a sorrowful cry. I am impressed with what you have said.

OMG...You said what i've been feeling for a long time. I'm the same way and I'm an adult. There are some girls I work with that are younger than I am and they treat me like I need to hold everything back and care a whole lot about what other people think. I'm just like "you dont understand, I DONT CARE!" They haven't lived enough life to understand that life is too short to try to hide who you are, hold back, and not enjoy yourself because you are soooo concerned about what others think of you. I find that in my adult life, most people find me charming and fun to be around, but this younger generation of say 15-25 just doesn't "get it". Bravo for being yourself. It just says that you are more mature and spiritually advanced than most people your age!
