Is it normal to feel kinda dependent from a guy i just met?

I just met a guy 3 weeks ago and we started dating, but now he left for vacations for 3 days and i feel kinda depressed and alone, as if i needed him to be here.... this have never happened to me before im always independent and secure... do u guys think this is normal?

    yes u got me exactly!!! hes the same except hes is not my bf... were just dating... but hes the kind of guy that likes to see u every single day and the only problem is that i feel that im getting used to him and being around him... so i just hope this works or im gonna be heart broken

    I had the same problem, me and my bf started dating on 3/5/10, and he left last week for his mums, and wont be back for like another 2 or 3 weeks. It is weird that I am so dependent on him, I never depend on anyone else, but he is the kind that likes someone to always be depending on them so it all works out in the end lol.
