I grew up with all brothers.
I love the hell out of them but we don't say it often. As we get older we all hang out more and talk more. Lately we've even been hugging when we leave.
Is it normal that it kinda feels awkward when i hug my brothers? will the awkward feeling go away?
Hmm. To me it sounds normal. But.. Thats because i hate my brother and we never Can get along.. He's a jerk, and i'd probably rather die than hug him so yeah, i'd feel awkward too..
I love my siblings but we don't hug or say love you, so that's normal to me. If my bro hugged me id proly think he had cancer or something lol
it's normal to feel how you do and yeah sometimes it can be akward, but remember you never know if thats the last time you will ever see them again you know? how would you feel if you shrugged off a hug and that was the last time you ever saw them? after my mom passed i always tell everyone i love that i love them and always hug the people i love before i leave. because you also never know when it's your last day.
I'm not a big huggy person, so I find it sorta forced (not in a really bad way or anything) or whatever when I hug.
Hmm..well Im British so expressing any form of emotion to siblings verbally is a no-no. When I say goodbye to my father for a while, i.e. 4 weeks, a simple handshake and 'Goodbye' is quite enough. The thought of even hugging my sister gives my the shivers - ITS NOT NATURAL!
I have all brothers too. I feel weird hugging them now cuz I'm a mom and they feel weird about it cuz I'm their baby sister so the thought pops in my head and I'm just like "uhhh, this is awkward.."
