Is it normal to feel intense anger when my gf does something stupid?

Well I've been going out with this girl for 17 months (which is amazing for me - my previous "best" being 6 weeks) and a few days back I went shopping for her christmas presents and came back and she wasn't on msn which is odd cause she pretty much ALWAYS is.

So I waited til about 10:30 and went to bed since I had to wake for college the next day when she text me saying shed been to a concert.

It turns out she went with a guy who'd tried to break us up on numerous occasions, to see a band I absolutely despise. And apparently shed been planning it for the past 5 months.

She SAYS it's because she didn't want me to worry about her but I don't know what to think ... Is it normal for a small part of me to feel incredibly angry at her eventhoughthe rest of me knows she meant well?

    Is it normal to get p*ssed because your gf planned in secret for many months to go out to a concert with another guy who appears intent on breaking you up?

    Only thing not normal I can see is that you still appear to be with her.

    She sounds like she is planning to cheat on you. This is the future of your relationship. You deserve a lot better. Dump this slut before she hurts you and makes you regret trusting her. You are being scammed.

    If you love her that much ofcourse you'll be able to forgive her .. this is why you said that you know she meant well.

    It is better to make an agreement between both of you to be totally honest and open to one another before doing something that can hurt anyone's feelings. See about that and if she couldn't keep it then she got her chances..
