Is it normal to feel hyperactive after a workout?

I'm not really sure if I can describe this accurately but here goes.

I've noticed that after I do a rather intense workout (usually runnin, lifting, abs), I feel tired for about 15 minutes and then abnormally hyperactive? I mean hyperactive in the sense that I can't really stop from moving around and doing things. (On a side note, I'm not normally like this.)

The thing is, at the same time, my muscles are absolutely dead and so I can't do anything. In effect, my body's kind of going crazy as it wants to lie down and go sprinting off at the same time.

So, is it normal to be both really tired and hyperactive at the same time?

Adrenaline is secreted which causes this feeling. Endorphins get rid of any bodily pain. These two together make us feel energetic and alive, but there is a crash, so still try to take it easy and calm down. A light walk is a good cool down.

Totally normal! Your body is tired from the workout but you got those beta endorphins going through you ^-^

Working out feels good, if tiring :P

Yes, exercise releases endorphins which is a natural 'feel good' chemical in the brain. I also feel like this when I work out

So that's what feeling good means, as kids they just gave us Ritalin because it was a "bad feeling" we needed to just sit there and be quiet. After awhile, we forgot how to "feel good". It became associated as negative, fused with our beliefs of infantilism it became a beacon of weakness. Gradually over time the body forgot how to cope with the additional chemicals being presented which caused anxiety. Learning how to funnel the voices through the physical till the body broke down. Which gave way to the dormant genetic markers of Schizophrenia escalating the un-channeled anxiety into paranoia. Forever dulling the colours of life into an eternal grey.
