Like sure, they can often be disgusting but I'm happy that those people embrace how weird they are.
I agree, although I’m asexual I find people’s usual fetishes fascinating. Things I consider mundane such as feet, hiccuping, urinating or defecating are intensely arousing to others and I like hearing them describe it in a shame-free way. It’s a glimpse into the way other people’s brains are wired and how they perceive the world.
So long as their fetishes aren’t dangerous I’m pleased for them too.
As far as I'm concerned, as long as a fetish doesn't affect anyone else in a negative way, people should be free to do whatever the hell they want in private.
Acknowledging and accepting ourselves for who we truly are is definitely much healthier psychologically than staying stuck in a pigeon hole that doesn't fit us just because others have told us that's where we belong.
There's a moral grey area when a fetish involves self-harm or the person with the obsessive interest actually risking their life. That raises questions about their mental health and that in turn raises questions about how responsible we are for protecting others from themselves. But, in general, I believe people should have the right to damage their own bodies or do things that either could or definitely will end their own life if they want to do that.
I’d say it’s normal. I generally accept people’s weird fetishes, even ones I personally find disgusting and wouldn’t partake in.

The only ones I'm aware of that I'm wholly against are the stuff that's illegal (cannibalism, necrophilia, etc.), toilet stuff, and stuff that's self harmful. Other than that, you do you.
Yeah who cares what others do with their lives. ive got plenty of weird ass fetishes but i keep them to myself and those who im sexually involved with.
