Is it normal to feel guilty when you kill bugs

Sometimes this feeling will even make me hesitate enough that I fail to kill it, even if it's something like a mosquito.

I do that. Though there's also an equal measure of fear that I'll miss and the bug/spider will fly/run and touch me. Which is why I sit in a corner and cry instead of killing bugs.

    All Bugs must DIE.
Why do you think we call them 'bugs?'
    Because they 'bug' us!

If any bug comes near me, it's just asking to be killed.

I kill mosquitos no problem. Any bloodsucker gets the death penalty. I will not, actually can't, kill other critters like spiders or caterpillars or anything else. No no no not nice.

How can u say that every creature has as much right to live as both you and I. If a bug could talk and he/she was asked do you want to live or die, then I'm sure he/she would say "I'll live". xx

          • Yeah, and I'm sure (unless you're a vegetarian) that if you asked the animals you eat if they want to live, they'd reply "I do". Or those animals that got their habitats and many of their lives killed to make our buildings, I'm sure if you asked them if they want to die they'd reply "No, I don't want to die". I'm sure if animals kill other animals, the prey wants to be alive. Cycle of life, and we're not the only species that kills needlessly.

It's normal to feel that way after taking a life, it just shows that you are human and have a conscience. However, I personally despise all bugs, and kill them without hesitation or regret.

I only feel this way with stinkbugs, moths, etc.

If it's a despicable spider or a blood sucking fiend, then it MUST DIE!

I don't feel remorse, but I feel relief and heightened senses...

I love spiders and accidentally killed one while running a bath and it is like losing a miniature baby.

I also beleive that it's wrong to kill bugs. They have a life as well as we humans do and they have as much right to live as we do. xx

It's fun killing bugs. Especially Mosquitos, spiders, earwigs, ants, birdmites and fleas. Anything that can bite me that gets into my property is going to get squashed or poisoned.

Kill something bigger and bloodier than a bug and you won't feel so bad about it.
