Is it normal to feel guilty for not being your sister's friend ?

Is it normal to feel guilty for not being your sister's friend and rejecting the outings she invited you to go to ? ,like when she was in her mid. twenties(still young ) and you were in your early twenties she used to tell you to go with her to places , clubbing ,shopping ,watch a movie with with her friends and you would sometimes be jelouse of her other times you would reject the outings for your selfish reasons , like not looking good ,jealouty , having social anxiety etc , and now that she is in her 30's she had moved on and is work oriented is a real adult , her outings are established with her friends and she no longer does the fun things she used to do when she was in her twenties that you could have joined her and became her sister and friend .

She will understand that you weren't ready at the time. It's not too late to join her and I'm sure she'd still welcome you. It's lovely that you want a relationship with her.

Even though she's still older, you can still enjoy her company with social outings every once in a while. It's not to late.
