Is it normal to feel guilty after a one night stand?

You feel like this because you believe sex is special and private and you did the the total opposite of what you believe in.

It's normal for women/girls to feel this way.

It's biological, and a bit stupid, since males won't usually feel the same.

Your brain tells you to be ashamed because you might be pregnant, but don't want to see the father, of your potential baby. And thereby removing the protector of the child.

Its normal. I had a one night stand a few days ago. And now I feel like crap.

Why is everyone so uptight about getting laid, everyone wants it, everyone does it, everyone enjoys it, its simple if he was good then fuck him again, if not then find another playmate.

I don't think you have anything to feel guilty about, but that's just me. You could view it as a positive experience and enjoy it for what it actually was: a good time.

I think its unbelievably silly how many people feel guilty about doing something totally normal and natural. So you hooked up? Good for you, you're a human being with desires, feelings, and contradictory urges. Welcome to the world we live in.

Now the best advice I can give you is do what you want, when you want, as long as it doesn't hurt anyone else and give no fucks about what society says or what "conventional morality" tells you is right or not. I think it is common to feel this way...so in that sense it is "norm"al....but it is not necessarily healthy...most people desire touch and sex...that too is normal...it is still private and special for you..don't beat up on yourself...you only acted on a normal instinct ..you didn't kill anyone..just next time you are faced with a one night stand remember how you might feel afterward
