Is it normal to feel funny about looking funny

I am a 53 to woman who is just starting to get a few wrinkles but still feels very young at heart and is in pretty good shape. I love rock and am a big green day fan. Recently I bought a green day ball cap but I feel funny wearing it, almost like I am too old to be seen wearing it. What do you all think?

    I'm at the wonderful point in my life where I don't give a rats ass who likes or doesn't like the way I dress! I dress for myself .....not for the approval of others.... If someone doesn't like the way I look.....oh well. Life's too short to worry about trivial things and whether or not you are wearing age appropriate clothes. You go on and wear what you want!

    i'd say you are bold. and that's a great thing.
    the society laughs and thats the truth. and moreover the society has changed a lot. its the aquarian age. lol. bring changes. lots of younger people are looking upon you. trust yourself.
    by the way i'm a rock fan too and greenday is one of my favourite. i find you interesting and fun. lol.

    I am 53 hot blonde grandmother. I love rock and have gone to several Nickelback concerts and wear the t shirts and anything else I want I've got a nice body and dress to show my features . Any fool who thinks we're old can only dream of being forever COOL!!!!

    wear it and be proud. my mom is 61 and wears some crazy (but not revealing) clothes and hats. don't go with the flow, swim against the current. you rock.
