Is it normal to feel extremely uncomfortable when telling a lie

I hate telling lies especially when it's unnecessary to lie. And I get frustrated when other people tell obvious lies. The only time I would lie would be to keep a someone's secret or my own personal problems. Whenever I get push into telling a lie I feel like the person already knows I'm lying and is waiting for me to finish talking so they can call me a liar.

It sounds like a bullshit story to me. I think you just made it up.

I was taught not to lie at a young age through violence. Since then I have an incredibly hard time lying. I do it in the same situations as you. I feel too guilty telling a lie to anyone, so I avoid it altogether. Sometimes I wish I could, but it's against my nature. I live with it.
