Is it normal to feel down after....

Is it normal to feel down after finding out after over a year of being with my boyfriend that the first time we had sex (and I lost my virginity)that he had taken off the condom and came inside me without me knowing? We had sex on day two (please don't judge that though) and it's been a year and four months and he just told me today when we were having sex. He told me because he thought I would think it's hot...but I don't. It killed the mood instantly and we stopped. I just dunno, I feel down because what if things hadn't worked out between us and I had gotten pregnant? Please let me know what you think...
