Happens all the time, it's because your blood pressure drops suddenly, which causes dizziness!
I have vertigo. A loss of balance caused by an imbalance in the inner ear fluid. It can make me dizzy or light headed. Stand up or lay down slowly. Take motion sickness pills. Drink water. Or close your eyes.
This only ever happens to me when I get out of high heat into a colder temperature quickly. One time I actually blacked out becuase of it.

That happens when you get up to quickly and your vision gets blurry because of the blood rushing through your head which is why its called a headrush and no its nothing to be afraid of.
When someone is tall the heart can have a difficult pumping blood to your brain. It's called a head rush. Drink more water and excersise more.
Usually I get dizzy because of ear infections or because I have a iron deficiency. Maybe one of those is the cause of it? Sorry I can't be much help.
