Is it normal to feel dizzy in interviews and meetings?

It seems that whenever Im in an interview, meeting with someone, or even just seeing the guidance councilor at school, when Im sitting I feel really dizzy, woozey, and as if everything is tilted sideways. Sometimes I even wonder if Im looking straight or if im tilting my head to the side! I might have anxiety issues but Im not sure and nobody ever recognized it

Anxiety can cause a heightening of blood pressure which can make you feel dizzy. Also research fight or flight response.

My advice. Go to a psychiatrist and get medication, seek therapy to get to the bottom of your social anxiety and/or expose yourself to more of these situations so you can get over it and build up a tolerance. That's what I did.

  • As you get older and more accustomed to things it won't be as bad.
    Take deep slow cleansing breaths

Sounds like some sort of performance anxiety to me and maybe a fear of rejection or abandonment thang. I rarely say this but Neptune over there has some damn good advice for you. All the best to you and hang in there.
