Is it normal to feel dizzy after watching a movie in cinema?

So after I got home after watching a movie, I felt dizzy as if I was drunk. I drank 2 litres (although I'm not sure if it was 2 litres or less) of coke and ate a lot of salted popcorns. Can caffeine or large amount of salt cause this?

    Holy cow, the same thing happens to me. I always thought it had something to do with overdosing on popcorn and the nasty lard they pass off as butter. But then I found this:

    Interesting. Still does not explain why it does not happen all the time.
