Is it normal to feel disrespected by my parents' loud sex noises?

I feel disturbed by my parents having loud sex while I can hear it right next door. I think they could wait for until I'm not there or at least not in hearing range. I also don't have loud sex at home, and they always rush to the bathroom super loud, banging doors right after they finished and my dad proudly makes comments like "I'm the MAN here!". is it normal I feel disrespected by this?

  • OP you're definitely justified in feeling weird about this, especially concerning how your Dad acts towards you. Real strange.

This sounds like complete bullshit to me. Move out. That is what they are trying to tell you. And, if you are as hot as you think you are, you'll have no problem getting a job out there as a stripper or doing porn.

If what you say is actually true (which I contend it is not), it is THERE house. If they want to fuck loudly in it, their business.

      You are free to move.

Hmm ... you should talk to your mother about it... Why she is helping his husband in fetishes like these ...

If they were doing anything else extremely loudly (like playing video games, watching a movie or listening to music) it would be considered annoying, and you would be within your right to tell them to shut the hell up. Sex isn't any different, so you're within your right to feel disrespected and I think most people would be.
