Is it normal to get depressed (as in suicidal at times) because im a short unattractive 22 yr old virgin that knows he will never make love to an attractive, slim girl?
I suppose id be happy to get any but im pretty sure ill only ever be happy if i get to do it with a hottie.
I'd prefer to have sex with someone I love and who has a fantastic personality, rather than be with someone who is a "hottie".
Looks are nice but if there's nothing underneath that it's like having the shiny wrapper with no chocolate. And no one wants just the wrapper...

First, you gotta separate the illusion of porn from the real fuckin world. Second, you sound more shallow then a damn bathtub, which never helps. Third, stop watching chick flicks and taking pointers from freddy prince jr and hugh fucking grant. That will only prolong your virginity, upping your estrogen, making your nipples sensitive. If your a decent human being who can make a girl laugh, youll do alright. If not, thats why god invented hookers!

Pride, confidence, worth<---These aren't qualities that flow from outward appearance and if that's the case then you too can have these things.
But to answer the question: Who says you can't find a beautiful woman? I see ugly dudes walking around all the time with femme fatales beside them.
When you're in love with someone their apperance won't matter. Sex is best when you're in love, whether the other person is hot or not won't matter - at all!
You're physical appearance makes a difference, but it's not everything. I had a friend who was a chunky little feller and he got some nice girls I would've went for. And I'm 35 and never going to have sex.
Never take advice from women. They just say things to make themselves feel better and for the most part have no real insight into their sexuality. That's why they keep talking about it. They're all clueless and live in a fantasty world concerning love and sex. Magazines take advantage of this. Plus it's always a dissappointment for them and they always settle for less.
Maybe you should settle for less, too. Get married, have kids, get divorced. That's normal... that's the way this world actually functions for the most part. We just don't like to admit it, I think. Look at reality, not the media. They just say what sells.
Try not to get mad at women, though - you probably are a loser. Obviously you're a bit defective. Would you date a defective woman? It's not their fault you're a loser.
You're only suicidal because you're bored, I think, or are feeling social pressures to fit in and act normal like everyone else. That's making you feel inferior as a person.
People change, though. Girls learn to settle for less as they grow older... esp. around 30. I wouldn't be surprised if you did get laid. It happens. Don't worry, there aren't a lot of guys out there who are really any different from you... besides the fact they've decided to settle for less, too, or just hook up with whatevers available at the moment.
