Is it normal to feel comfortable being slightly overweight?

I'm a girl and I weigh 150 lbs and stand around 5' 4". The only place I carry my weight is in my belly, and to be honest it doesn't really bother me. I don't wear extremely tight clothes, and most of the time you can't really tell that my tummy is a bit bigger than other girls. Either way I am, skinny or chubby, my partner still thinks I'm attractive. The only time my weight matters to me is when someone else comments on the fact that I have a muffin top.
Is that normal?

You don't seem that overweight to me but if you're young don't let it creep up on you as you get older. It`s harder to shift as you get older and it's more dangerous around your belly as it pushes up the rest of your internal organs - lungs, liver, heart, etc.

That's great right there. Confidence is awesome and 150 pounds is barely overweight anyway. :)

If you act confident with your body, you appear more attractive. Its normal, the most important thing is that you're happy with your size

I admire your healthy self-esteem! However, do know that belly fat, or an "apple-shaped" figure, is associated with some pretty specific health problems (heart disease, diabetes, etc.). I've thought about this a lot because I am an apple myself. Being a "pear" doesn't carry as much risk. Google " hip-to-waist ratio" to find out if you are at risk. But keep your healthy attitude.

You're the same weight and height as my ex and her extra weight usually went on her belly too. It's perhaps not everyone's choice but I think a bit of belly fat is kind of sexy.

You aren't that fat to be honest. I'm 5'6" and I'm 200 pounds.
I'm glad you aren't bothered by it though. And congrats in finding a partner! Hope you two are happy. :)

How can that be obese if she looks just like other girls except with a belly? Unless the OP is lying.

Sure, it's ok if you're comfortable with it. Just be careful not to become obese. Personally I'm more self-concious, but that's just me lol..I think ur normal.

It's okay for a guy but not a girl. Girls should be attractive. If you are slightly overweight now you will become more overweight after you get married or something. Lose the weight or your guy will look for someone hotter.
