Is it normal to feel bad when someone ignores you?
I am very sensitive to being ignored.
It's something I can not resist, when I wave at someone or call them and they do not respond(it's not always on purpose).
I take it too seriously, for example in class, I ask the teacher a question and he just keeps on talking or answers someone else's question. I get embarrassed.
You will find this extremely weird, but when a person actually ignores me after I said a joke or I asked him a question, I feel so bad, and I start looking around me to make sure nobody realized that I have been ignored. Also when someone gets ignored, I feel very bad for them and tend to answer their question so they won't feel embarrassed although they don't actually feel bad. AM I EVEN NORMAL? It hurts me most of the time, can I change the way I think?
