Is it normal to feel bad for wasted water

sometimes when I poor water down the drain or wasting water. I always look at it and think "someone could have drank that" I feel bad for staving ppl or homeless ppl who could have drank that water. we use water in weird ways too...do they know about our water parks? just imagine what their reaction would be when you bring them to one. O.O
we also use water to wash our cars...we don't NEED to wash our car but...oh well. so I feel bad

    yes, don't waste water. but don't forget, water continues to survive after it goes down the drain. it's a cycle you see. we are all reusing the same water that's always been here. city water has to go through a cleaning, which is costly. well water is at the mercy of drainage, so you should never waste that.

    about washing cars: vehicles are expensive to buy, register and insure. for alot of us, it is our only means to get to a job to earn money to live. only a fool wouldn't wash road salt and other solvents off of it. after dirt, comes rust. a rusty car is a dangerous car. so it's not wasting water to wash a car.

    I feel bad too about wasted water, but that's because I grew up on well-water, and it was drilled into me from infancy to not waste water.
