Is it normal to feel bad for the bad guys?

Books, movies, plays, you name it. If in the end the bad guy dies or goes to jail or whatever, regardless of what he said or did, I always feel bad for him! Is this normal?!

    I think it's normal. Like Dexter and Tony suprano. I think the author/film makers try to show really bad guys as people like you and me. Or that movie law abiding citzin, Gerald butler should have gotten away with what he did.
