Is it normal to feel bad about killing animals in video games?

My friends sister would bawl her eyes put when we'd play duck hunt on the wall haha. She's totally flip out because we were killing the 'duckies'

It is normal for alot of people, but you should not feel bad about it, as the animals are not alive and feel no pain, as it is a game.

You have what's known as a conscience. You freak.

It's just a game. Why feel sorry for NPCs. They just respawn. No harm done :D

I kill everything and everyone and feel no shame or remorse.

It's weird, I feel no shame killing people, zombies, aliens or robots in games. But when it comes to animals, I actually feel bad D:

I don't think it's normal. I personally love killing shit. That being said, there's no big problem with it or anything.

I kind of feel bad too. As long as you don't do it in real life though, it's okay.

Can't say that I associate video games with real life all that much.

same I could hardly bring myself to shoot the pigeons in GTA4 but at least they die quickly in an explosion of feathers...lol
