Is it normal to feel anxiety while taking ssris?

I always feel generally anxious taking SSRIs. Everyone has anxiety, but I feel this might be an artificial kind.
Is there anyone out there who takes SSRIs too?

Please don't recommend a doctor. I hate them with a passion.

I am currently taking Lexapro for about three months now and I still feel anxiety in some situations. However, I feel little to no anxiety on alot of situations were I was having anxiety attacks a year ago or even a few months ago. I think it will go away, eventually, after you keep taking the medication for a longer period of time. I had suicidal thoughts about a month into the medication and worsening depression, told my psychiatrist about it, and dismissed it as something irrelevant that had nothing to do with the medication. Stupid ass doctors.

I tried Sertraline for panic disorder once, competely useless. It made me worse, & also made me nauseous too.

It depends what SSRI you're taking. Things like Sertraline really help with anxiety - which I have a lot of - but do fuck all for depression :/
