Is it normal to feel angry/insulted at what my friend said to me?

So I was talking to a female friend and wanted to know what I was doing, so I said I was with my friend. Then she asks if she can talk to my friend, which I said no because he doesn't want to. And then I ask if she wants to talk to me more and she goes "no I want to talk to your friend because I want to get to know him more".

I don't know why but it made me feel angry because it was like she doesn't care to talk to me at all. And Im someone who has almost no friends so I felt insulted. Should I feel this way? She also doesn't know my friend.

You did my mistake. She's either A using your anonymous friend to make you jealous or B playing the field to see if your friend is any good.

Normal to feel a little insulted. If you still like you her you should make a move but otherwise I'd just stick to being friends.
