Is it normal to feel an abrupt shaking rise through your spine.

I will just be sitting in class looking at my paper and then this feeling comes rising up my spin causing me to shake uncontrollably for a few seconds. It feels like how I feel right as I orgasm but I do not need an erection for this to happen and it feels alot stronger. Is it normal to get this occasionally (A couple times a month).
