Is it normal to feel alone when he doesn't sleep next to me

He will go sleep on the hard couch in the cold basement, or at his mother's house whenever he goes there. I know he isn't cheating on me. He tell's me he loves me everyday, and multiple times a day. However; when it comes to bedtime he isn't usually around. Its every night where i sleep on my own and i dont really what to hurt his feelings by telling him where to sleep or anything, but i hate being alone. I cry almost every time i have to sleep without him. It doesnt help that we work different schedules so we dont see each other but we sleep at the same time on the weekends. I just dont know whats going on with him, I've asked before if anything was wrong and he says everything is great. He has told me that the upstairs bed is too soft and hurts his back. I just.. i dont know if im overreacting or if i should be worried. we are moving into a new apartment next week and i dont know if im just someone who cuts the bill in half or not anymore.

Maybe you need a new matress. I really like memory foam because it's both hard and soft. That or I'd bring the couch upstairs lol.

  • Maybe you snore, maybe he snores, maybe he has gas and is embarrassed, it could be anything.

Maybe he's just not used to sleeping next to someone. What if you just slept in the same room together instead? Would that be fine?
