Is it normal to feel alone?

I feel like I will be alone forever. I haven't had sex with anyone. I'm 17 and never kissed a guy before. The only relationship that lasted longer than 2 hours was over facebook so not even that counts as a real relationship. I take care of my 90 year old grandmother with Alzheimer's. I'm kind of busy...I don't really go out much. I'll be starting college soon and I feel more alone than ever. Will i ever find someone to love and love me back? Is this normal?

    Well, I'm 17 and have never even as so much held a girls hand. However, my spirits aren't crush. We're young and still have our whole lives ahead of us. High school isn't really fair environment to be in a relationship since 10% of guys get 90% of the women. I'm hoping that after high school dating will be a lot more simpler. Besides, since you're taking care of your grandma you sound like a very compassionate girl and someday you'll meet a man who'll appreciate who you are as a person.

    Lol joke but I think its good thing that your practicly the one wearing the pants in your family look your going to college anyways your gonna get a fresh new start and just keep being postive and youl meet someone who likes you for who you are and who you will like back. And you'll make lots of friend.just keep believing ang trying and youl find your life partner.

    Your future is just beginning, make sure you set great goals, and boundaries, and stick with them! You will soon be making up for lost time, anyone with a heart like your will find great rewards

    Of course you will don't worry , ease up on yourself.
    College will change a lot of things for ya too .
    Just try to remember you though when your looking after the gran, your life and world counts too, try to combine more of it and get out and have some apart from it too.

    i was 18 before i got my first kiss. even then i wish i waited... Awful kiss..bad. lol
    you have a lotta time. College should be your easy access to a good time. FInd friends, date( dont commit lol) just good ol' fun :) patience my dear!

    You're only 17, you seriously have plenty of time. You think you're going wind up alone because you haven't had a real relationship at an age where you have barely begun your life? You're putting too much pressure on yourself. Relax, it'll happen.

    I know how you are feeling even though you are pretty young. However, as much as you feel alone that feeling will go away once you meet new people. That is only the start of it.

    As you want a relationship to make you feel complete I would suggest waiting for the right guy and not going out with somebody just for the sake of not being alone. If you do choose just anyone to spend your time with you will feel alone again because even when we are with somebody, we tend to feel alone if they are not the kind of person that really appeals to us. You really need to enjoy that persons company to not feel alone. Plus, even when we are surrounded by so many people, we can feel out of place.

    That being said, be patient and you will see that waiting will pay off. Just don't do anything spontaneous. Plus, you don't have to have sex to feel satisfied. A great relationship is not based on sex. Concentrate on your studies.
