    Of course it is normal. Isn't the the classic "ideal" for love? To be able to grow and change together and be together forever?

    It was my great-grandparents' reality. Well, from their teens to their mid-nineties, anyway.

    Things change and people change.

    People get tired of eachother which makes "forever and ever" unrealistic.

    There is an exception to every rule, though.
