Is it normal to fear your next bowel movement?

Is it normal to fear your next bowel movement after you've eaten something really spicy? Last night I ate jalapeño and pineapple chicken with a mango and habanero sauce. It was amazing, and delicious for the first half, but the second half was so spicy that I almost tapped out... but then I remembered that I'm from Houston, Texas which is the home of many fine restaurants that serve delicious, hot and spicy cuisine from all over the world. After I finished my spicy chicken adventure I felt for a while as if I was having a reaction, because my skin was burning, but now I think it just may have been that I had some small amount of oils from the jalapeño under my fingernails after having washed my hands.

Anyway, is it normal be afraid of pooping after eating such food?

Everyone should fear my bowel movements, they're big, manly beasts.

I don't get this tbh. I occasionally eat vindaloos and never get ring of fire.

You are forgetting the acidic urine you will have to pass when you urinate every time.
