Okay I was at school one day and a tornado happened and my teacher said "all of you better start praying because all of you are going to die" now everytime a tornado WATCH or a terrible storm happens I want to leave the state or I get terrible fear is it normal please help!
Your teacher sounds like a whack job. I don't blame you for being afraid, though. I hope you have a tornado plan at your school.
It sounds as if your teacher created a "traumatizing" situation that scared you. She's an idiot for doing so. Have a healthy respect for nature and stay aware and take precautions when you hear warnings. Have a safe place to be. Talk to someone about it and do your best to deal and remember we are much safer today than people were before us who had no warnings.

I live in the tornado alley region of Texas. My county is tornado warned usually once a year at least. And we've been struck by strong tornados on the edge of town at least four times since 1970. I've noticed that tornados bring out passionate emotions from terror to excitement in everyone. To be terribly frightened is not abnormal. But, do you live in a high tornado prone area? Maybe you need to figure out what exactly would make you feel safer (build a storm shelter--they're very affordable--and be prepared once a tornado watch is issued. Gives you a sense of being more in charge.). Working with your fears, even learning more about tornados, could ease things up. It cuts a lot of the mystery out of it.
We have friends that live in OK. They said the tornados are awful. They grow them big out there.
Yeah tolttaly I live on Oklahoma they happen all the time and it is pretty scary
