Is it normal to fear blood?

I'm not sure if i actually fear it, all I know is that as far back as I can remember I've really hated it. I hate thinking about it, talking about it, seeing it, etc. It makes me woozy and feel like I want to pass out. It makes me cringe inside and want to just curl up sometimes.

I'm the complete opposite. I love blood. I could sit there and stare at it all day, so I could never understand why people don't like it... Whatever floats your boat, I suppose! :)

  • My aunt was a nurse and couldn't stand blood, she actually fainted during her training when a senior doc drew blood from a patient.

She learned to tolerate it though. Personally, I have no problem with blood, I'd even go so far as to say I like it.

Yea it's normal. This is what sustains us, if u see it tht means injury or sickness which we r hardwired to avoid. It's natural. Though some ppl can get over this and to them it's not a big deal
