Is it normal to fear/be nervous going to a new town.

Iv recently been talking to a girl who lives an hour away and she wants me to come up there and hang out in her town as she's came down here countless times. I get a wierd almost sicky feeling whenever I go somewhere new.. Like family vacations don't Bother me it's more alone/with friends... Help?

I get exactly the same whenever I go on a vacation by myself to meet up with friends or cousins. For me it's not the location that freaks me out, it's not knowing any people or the way things work there. It's like I'm scared to not fit in. If you are like me then the only advice I can give you is be nice to everyone you meet and be outgoing and be willing to do anything.

That's not normal, really. Sounds like you're not very independent.

Maybe you just need to know about where you are going and the area you are in.

I think it might be just because you don't know where anything is.I felt that way until I got my gps makes me feel a lot better going to new towns I have been to .
