Perfectly normal! I do that all the time ; lots of people. It's okay to know what you do and don't want, but don't set your standards too high.

I think it's normal, but I never think about what he will look like, just his personality and hobbies and stuff.

It is normal but I do not recommend it. I met the most perfect man ever a few months ago (no my current bf) but sometimes he messed up & i always get infuriated with him. You can't ever expect someone to be exactly the way you want them to be. People have their own lives. Yes you will meet someone who is close to but don't put in your mind that he has to be perfect because perfection doesn't exist & you;re only setting yourself up for destruction.

    Best Wishes,

    S.

It's quite normal...but don't keep on doing that though cuz you might end up just fantasizing...Get out and meet new people..You might be surprised that your perfect guy is quite different that what you were expecting..It did for me..My perfect girl was blonde but the girl i love is not!!!

I did that until I actually met him! I remember being a teenager, and in my 20's and 30's fantasizing about the "perfect" man. I would catch myself daydreaming, or at night before I went to sleep thinking about what he would be like. In all honesty, the man of my dreams was nothing like my fantasies, he IS so much better! When I visualized him he was tall and muscular. My husband is neither of those but I'm ok with that. I dated enough men like that to know it wasn't what I really wanted. I guess what I'm getting at is that, YES, it's totally normal. Keep on dreaming and fantasizing all you want. You may be surprised that who you end up falling in love with is nothing like your "dream man".
