It's just a fantasy, probably stemmed from watching movies, if you see a character dying, you probably would replace him with your crush, there can be many reasons for this and I'm no psychology major nor do I think psychology can be majored because the brain is to not be explained. I think this is normal, it's just a very intense, romantic fantasy like a movie scene.
This reminds of the animated short Vincent.

It's seems like fantasizing about tragedy isn't that strange. It's dramatic but I guess there's some entertainment to it and it may be common.
People like feeling things. So if such fantasies make you feel terrible, then yeah. Just bringing more excitement to your life.
It seems like that could cause some anxiety at some point in your life. If you're constantly thinking about people you love dying, you will constantly fear their death.
I'm like that too, but I usually like the feeling of grief from other people when they find out he's dead, or I like to see his agony right before he dies.
It's pretty sweet but you may want to be careful how you word it. "I want you dead" doesn't send the right message.
But, dappled, you know I've always wanted you dead, right:')?
Signed, apprentice in sin>:P.
:O I've misjudged you. You were already evil! I'm slightly scared of you now. *hides behind a door and looks at you through a keyhole*
Mwahaha, this is what you get for saying I have a mackem accent! Oh, the thought! *shudders*
Also, I don't do the whole apprentice thing. I quit!>:P I may not be able to get through the door, but I'm sure I can find my own little, evil things to fit through the keyhole...>:)
