Is it normal to fancy my friend's brother?

Hi... Erm so my friend has this hot older brother. I met him a few times last year when he came to visit her at uni and we got on quite well.

I was invited on to their family holiday and again we were getting on really well. We all went for drinks and ended up getting quite wasted and he was being very flirty and "touchy-feely". This lead to the inevitable drunken making out session while my friend was asleep. More could have happened but it wasn't really an appropraite time on the family holiday!!

I told her the next day and she was a bit weird about it but tbh I was too hungover to notice. He was fine with me, even being quite flirty again and kinda looking at me all the time etc.
Then it started getting really awkward when their mum came up to me one night and basically told me to stay away from him, as he had actually told her about it...
Then he started being more and more off with me until, by the end, their was not even eye contact let alone conversation.

I was quite upset because tbh I thought we had some kind of connection.. So when he came down last weekend I was quite nervous! But it ended up being really good and even a bit flirty again..

Does he like me or am I just seeing things that aren't there? And should I even go there again if there is a chance despite my friend not being happy about it?

sorry for the essay, any comments appreciated :)

Its Very normal. i've been in the same situation.
i liked my friends older brother too. +& we've had moment's and one night while my friend was asleep we made out and then his mother came over to pick up her laptop. Very bad night, my friend was upset with me and his mom told me to back off, and that i wasn't aloud to have anything with him. My friend is 17, her brother just turned 19. +& im 18 turning 19. This is very normal. her brother and i are currently dating. I told my friend that im happy with him and he makes me smile every day, and i asked her if she could except "us" and she at first said no, but we've been dating for 9 monthes and she has warmed up to the fact that im not going anywhere because i love him. So if you want take the chance and go for it!

Try not to let it jeopardize your friendship but if you think it's worth it, then I reckon its worth a try!

That's just like falling in love with any other person, but if its your friends brother then, hell, I would be cautious.

seems to me like he probably likes you. im not saying that it's set in stone, but MOST guys will not come to visit you unless they liked you. he most likely wants you if he's a guy and he's flirting... although i have seen guys fuck around with that concept.
