I really like my bestfriend. When we used to go to school people used to think we were dating even though i had a boyfriend. We hung out everyday and I had a little crush on him. He had a girlfriend at the time so i stayed low... but when they broke up i found myself more and more attracted to him. I recently broke up with my boyfriend for other reasons. and all i want to do is be closer to my best friend.... is that normal? what should i do? we have talked about how dating would ruin our friendship and it would ruin the group we have at school.... me and all the guys. I don't know what to do and I don't know if he likes me more than a friend. he texted me once that he thought he did when he was drunk

    You have time, take it slow. If you want a romance you can have it and then decide it doesn't work, and still have the caring of a friendship afterwards. I did that.

    But when you're old enough to make a commitment, your best friend had better be your spouse.

    Me and one of my brat guy fronds went out and even tho we broke up we are like brother and sister now

    I would go for it. I was just like you the friendship the group at school everything. btw when your drunk your true thoughts and feelings arise even the ones you wont admit to yourself. GO FOR IT! make a pact that you wont get serious till about a year into the relationship or so, cause if your not that serious you could still be great friends if it ended. Me and my bestfriend are attracted to each other were not good in a relationship but we still have each other always and thats what counts.

    Its normal. Findmout if he has the same feelings before u try to go to the next level. I think u should go for it if he is willing as well. But it might ruin the friendship. So talk to him
