Is it normal to fall in love with my biology professor?

It has only been 2 months since I have been his student but now I admit I fell deep in love with him that it sucks to know nothing will come out of this. We have a 6 year gap and he's finishing his masteral while I'm just mainly a senior.

    That's not love, it's infatuation. It's just a crush.

  • How did you conclude you love him? You've been on dates, spoken and acted intimately, have things and hopes/dreams in common, and talked about the future right?
The age gap is meaningless, these other things aren’t.

Imo, if you're 18+ he's unmarried, and if you're about to graduate soon, it's normal. If you're a child then, noooo it's not normall like at alllll

Sorry, but unless you've spent time alone with the guy so you know him well, you're not in love with him. You're infatuated, probably projecting madly, and very likely imagine him to be a completely different person to who he truly is.

There's no shame in that. The vast majority of people go through it.

However, acting on it can create huge problems for everyone.
