Is it normal to fall in love with a girl from the 1920's/30's?

Hi,

I have had this feeling for a while now, which IS, that i feel that i feel that i love a girl from the 1920's/30's, its a 'nigley' feeling, and i need to go back there as soon as possible. I know in a LITERAL sense, i can't, but from a pychological point of view, what does this actually mean? I see her in my mind, very clearly, and i can hear her voice. I promise you i'm perfectly normal otherwise, live a normal life in late teens. I've felt like i've forgotten her, or have to carry out a duty in the early 20th centuery, or i've missed something, as if i have a family back there or something. Is this normal? Am I normal? I fear for my sanity, i really do.

Thanks,

I like women in their 20's, not women from the 20's who'd either be in their 90's or dead.

This reminds me so much of this 80's movie; Somewhere in Time. Its on youtube. You should watch it. This guy pretty much falls in love with this girl who... blah... nevermind. I'm not gonna tell you what its about. But yeah, you should totally watch it! `

Buy a used Delorean, contact Dr. Emmett Brown (I dont have his current address, sorry) and get to work on the flux capicitor. Jeez, anybody who grew up in the 80s would know what to do.

Sounds like that Owen Wilsom movie about him wanting to leave his wife for some woman in the '20s. He ends up leaving his wife for a modern woman though. I don't blame him, his wife was a bitch.

Anywa, it doesn't sound normal but you might be onto something. Just don't let it keep you from dating modern women. You don't want to find yourself in your 40's, single, having chased a random fantasy. Ever wonder why you feel this way?

As long as it's not Louise Brooks. Because I have some duties in the early 20th century too, and she's one of them.
