Yeah its totally normal. Fictional characters are sometimes intened to have flawless faces, bodies, peronality etc. AND on top of that putting the authors descriptions together is all up to our imaginations. So any physical form can result. Its totally normal, don't worry. :)

Its normal, as long as you don't get to Twifag standards and think they're fucking real and try to make your RL lovers into them.
The author of that book has certainly reached their goal. Characters in stories are often meant to grab your attention or to make you fall in love with them, it keeps you keen. No doubt this character was perfect? so yeah, I would say this is normal :)

but yes, it's normal. characters in books can sometimes be a lot easier to fall in love with than people irl.
