Is it normal to fall in love in a couple of days with a stranger?

I knew a foreign guy in a foreign country. I hadn't been with any guy before so everything was completely new for me. We had been talking and playing about 3 nights, and we spent a whole day together doing tourism; it was the happiest day I can remember. The chemistry between us was incredible. We only kissed, twice. And he left to his country 3 days after. The weeks after that have been the worst in my life. Thinking of him was (still is) like being stabbed. I was even physically in pain; I stopped eating and just wanted to cry and watch depressive films. Is THIS normal?

    DEFINETLY NORMAL, I have only gotten REAL butterflies once, and that was when I was in spain, I think I was 12 years old, I made some vacation friends and one of my friends had a brother, she was french and I'm dutch but we all spoke English so that wasn't a problem. Anyway, the brother, Bryce. I was SO attracted to it was unbelieveable! It's over 4 years later now, and honestly I have forgotten his face, but I still cant help but think about him sometimes. :3

    i fall in love really easy like that too. so to me it is normal.
