Is it normal to fall for your fb

Ok so this guy I know, we've always got on amazingly well, we have great banter and we're so similar we just bounce off of eachother. He's really attractive and always has lots of female attention. He's a bit of a player as he loves the ladies but he's not an arsehole about it he's a proper nice guy. I'm always seeing different guys aswell so we're similar in that way and always swap stories. Anyway so obviously we're both up for a bit of fun and we were fully aware of what the other one is like, so we got together one night and have been ever since. We agreed we had the perfect relationship (friends with benefits). Only trouble is, I've totally fallen for him. He's such a charmer and I thought I could handle it but he's completely dragged me in. He always tells me he loves me to bits, thinks I'm amazing and unlike any other girl he's ever met but we never really discuss anything else so I have no idea how he feels about me. I never let on how I feel about him so as far as he's concerned i still see him as a friend. Is it normal to feel like this towards my friend when it supposed to be strictly casual?
