Is it normal to fall for the same person again and again?

The thing is, I was with this lad for 3 months, and it was brilliant. I was his first proper girlfriend, first kiss and we were both really happy. Then he started to drift away from me, and then he finished me because he said he didn't have time and I then found out it was because he is supposedly moving away (I'm still unsure on whether or not this is true). Then we went through the usual stages of a break up, we argued, made friends, argued and now we're friends again. But recently he has started talking to me like we used to and asked me to go out and meet him sometime during the week and ever since he did, I can't stop smiling and all I can think about is him. First off, any advice please? But, my question is, is it normal for me to fall for him again, even after he broke my heart (even though I didn't let it show) and after all of this?

    We all do this at the beginning of our dating age.

    Then we wise up and say, "How dare he treat me like that! Your loss sucker, I'm outa here!"

      I agree with joybird...You keep falling for him because you know each other, but think about how he made you feel when you broke up, then think, do I really want to go through that again?

    This sounds like my first real relationship. If your already rocky, then obviously things aren't going to work. He's flakey, and you sound like a good girl, so i would highly recommend running before these emotions out weigh your rational thought
