Is it normal to faint when learning about injurys and trauma?

Ok i have been fainting at the sight of blood since i was about 10 i fainted and threw up when i saw the movie master and commander and i feel faint all the time in bio class and health. I get scared when i hear about injurys or blood. Is there anyway i can get rid of this? I need it to stop

    Its normal but not common. If you truly want to get ovet it, schedule to see a therapist.

    Normal. U need to expose yourself to gruesome things gradually. Start off looking at pictures and work ur way up. The fainting is caused by the change in blood pressure. You have to train urself to realize it's not happening to you. The more u gradually expose urself to these things the more tolerant u will become. Good luck!

    It's normal, I don't have the problem(I actually find the gross stuff interesting), but when the paramedics came to our school for prom safety and showed us pictures of smashed dead bodies, etc. he just said sit down lean forward and put your head between your legs if you begin to feel faint.

    Look up vasovagal syncope. It's genetic and I don't think there is a lot you can do, but it's a real thing and maybe that will help you.
