Is it normal to experience period alterations after a miscarriage?

it's been eighteen months since I had a miscarriage and ever since then my period flow hasn't been regular. It either comes really early, or fairly late, when I have sex I use condoms but i'm not on the pill, so I don't think that would have anything to do with my flow?
When my period does arrive it's not heavy whatsoever, I know that's normal, for some people, although for me, I used to have a fairly heavy period, I was able to use a regular absorbency tampon for the whole five days of my flow, and now, my flow is really light, even when I purchase light absorbency tampons, it feels really uncomfortable, so I just use a liner because during the day I don't even leak, well, I do, but not as consistent as I do at night. And I was just wondering if this was normal, or if any other women have experienced this, for as long as I have after a m'c
